UPDATED: CRASH CLOSES MILITARY ROAD BETWEEN CHALE AND ATHERFIELD

Emergency services have responded to a road traffic collision on Military Road this afternoon (Sunday). Police, paramedics and firefighters were mobilised to the popular coastal road at around 15:30. The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service has an ambulance crew and a rapid response paramedic on scene. Military Road has been closed as medics tend to the injured. UPDATE – The road has now reopened.
