COWES PRIMARY SCHOOL CELEBRATES THE QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE

Cowes Primary School celebrated Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on Friday (27th May).

The celebrations began with an assembly with a journey through the decades – with fashion, music, and inventions – led by each class. Students created some amazing outfits and made some cool moves.

Cowes Primary School also held their own Jubilee Pudding competition, with the winner, Ella Alfonso, having her recipe cooked in the school kitchen to be served after the half-term break.

The Jubilee picnic was a great success with many families being able to join the school, enjoy being together, and celebrate in the sunshine.

They were also able to view the Monarchs’ Gallery, with each class having produced some artwork based on Kings and Queens through the ages.
