Cowes RNLI have come to the aid of a yacht with engine failure in the Western Solent this Easter Sunday.
The volunteer lifeboat crewed launched at 12:40 to a mayday call received from the 44ft yacht ‘Aroura’ reporting engine failure in strong winds.
After setting up a tow, Cowes lifeboat slowly but surely towed the casualty vessel into Cowes Harbour.
The lifeboat was recovered to station by 14:10.
