Rob Da Bank has taken to social media to tease a suggestion that the ‘hundreds of thousands’ who attended Bestival at Robin Hill over the years could join forces to buy the original site of the much loved music festival.
As previously reported by Island Echo, Robin Hill – which hosted Bestival between 2004 and 2016 – has been put up for sale and the festival’s founder Rob Da Bank has clearly heard the news.
In a post on Instagram, Rob Said:
“Right ok if everyone out of the hundreds of thousands who came to @bestival between 2004 and 2016 stuck a tenner in we could buy back Robin Hill and do it all again*”
However, it would appear that the post is somewhat tongue-in-cheek as the following caveat was added:
“*actually i quite like a quieter life and my pipe and slippers”
This certainly seems more in keeping with Rob’s latest ventures of a mobile sauna as well as wellness and sleep retreats offering meditation and yoga at Camp Earth near Yarmouth.

Alot of negative stuff on hear ..how about we build our own bestival type thing ,combine all the art and music workshops and all the learning charities..any anyone that wants to help

Small entrance fee ,profits going to charity
