Hillbans Pest Control, the Island’s leading pest control provider, has been featured in a full page editorial within the UK pest control industry’s PPC95 magazine, published by the BPCA (British Pest Control Association).
The nationwide exposure is another significant reflection of the companies standing and position within the industry, as not only the Island’s but one of the UK’s leading pest control providers.
Sandra Knowles, Managing Director of Hillbans Pest Control, comments:
“We were so pleased when the BPCA contacted us about featuring in the magazine. It’s such as great honour for us as a business and reflects on the high standard of service we provide to all our clients and our standing within the pest control community across the UK.”
The article, entitled ‘Certified successful’ looks at the success of the company and their recently being awarded CEPA European quality standard certification for pest control services BS EN 16635, the only company on the Island hold this award. It also looked back the company’s humble beginnings over 30 years ago, their move to new offices in Ryde and rise to become the leading provider on the Island.
The article is aimed at inspiring other companies to raise standards and aspire to be the best, something also reflected in the awards achieved by Sandra and the team at Hillbans Pest Control including: Member of the Year, Growth Business of the Year and Highly Commended as Small Business of the Year at the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce awards for Excellence.
The article follows the company being invited to join Kevin Higgins, Membership Manager of the BPCA (British Pest Control Association), at PestEX, the industry’s premier event that took place at Excel, London earlier in the year. The bi-annual exhibition and conference for the UK’s pest control industry and the largest annual get together for the pest management sector.
