Police are investigating a reported break-in at a storage shed at Cowes Corinthian Yacht Club, with CCTV images shared in a bid to identify those involved.
The incident is believed to have taken place at around 20:00 on Sunday 25th January at the Cowes Corinthian Yacht Club off Birmingham Road – but the break-in was only reported to Police yesterday (Tuesday).
A post shared online by the Andrew Cassell Foundation states that a number of older youths allegedly entered a storage shed at the site. A CCTV still is being circulated in a bid to identify those suspected of being involved.
A spokesperson for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has said:
“We received a report yesterday (10 February) that a shed at the yacht club had been broken into.
“The incident is believed to have occurred on 25 January, and nothing has been reported stolen at this time.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
A forensic investigator was at the scene in Cowes this afternoon as part of ongoing enquiries.

The burglars who broke into the storage shed must’ve taken clown college seriously—nothing stolen, just a classic case of showing up, making a mess, and leaving empty-handed like the world’s least profitable circus act.
With such a mug shot it should be easy to catch the numpties.
If there was islandwide CCTV there would be a perfect
trail.
The sooner more CCTV is installed the better, and surely
it can be monitored by A.I
There is so much technology in the world, let’s use it.
So you like the idea of Big Brother. Weirdo
If it’s the only way to stop crime why not!
Too many people think they can do what they want
THEY CAN’T!
But they do. Just look at the so called sentences handed out by the island courts.
Dumb and dumber
Facial recognition is in shops in Newport maybe these two mugs will.visit one of them.
