Visitors to the Yaverland area of Sandown should take extra caution when walking along the beach following a small cliff fall that occurred earlier this evening (Friday).
Island Echo reader Zoe Cox captured the moment a plume of dust spread across Yaverland Beach as tonnes of earth fell from above. The fall occurred at around 19:00.
Thankfully, no one has been injured in the small fall but fears are growing that a much larger section of the cliff could come away at any moment.
It is almost a year ago that a large section of Red Cliff collapsed on a rising tide, prompting fears walkers in the area had been trapped.
