A crash that has seen a vehicle roll onto its roof on a residential street in East Cowes has led to an emergency response by police, firefighters and paramedics this morning (Friday 13th).
It was just before 07:40 that emergency services were alerted to the collision on Minerva Road, off Adelaide Grove.
A red Seat Arona has come to rest upside down on its roof after colliding with a number of parked vehicles.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service has a paramedic crew, a critical care paramedic and an operational commander in attendance, but no serious injuries are thought to have been sustained.
A fire appliance from Newport has also been mobilised by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service in the interests of scene safety.
Police have closed the quiet residential street in both directions whilst the occupant(s) is tended to by medics, and recovery of the vehicle is arranged.
UPDATE @ 08:23 – A Mercedes and a Citroen – parked either side of the carriageway – have sustained damage.
Recovery agents are on scene.
