A car has come to rest on its side blocking the main road through Whitwell this evening (Saturday).
The incident which occurred at just gone 17:00, has seen a gold Suzuki Jimmy travelling up High Street toward Ventnor, collide with a vehicle parked just outside of the White Horse Inn.
As a result of the collision, the Jimny has toppled over onto its side.

High Street remains blocked whilst Police await recovery agent, Bartletts.
UPDATE ON SUNDAY – Police have confirmed that the driver involved suffered a minor injury.

Obviously hasn’t yet mastered the technique of “parking the car on its roof”
There are more rolls on island roads than in
Grace the bakers.
How does one collide with a parked vehicle!!
Maybe a trip to Specsavers is on the cards.
How???
My thoughts exactly.
It’s a JIMNY
More bad driving on the Iow
More utter shit driving.
The Island norm
someone needs drug and alcohol test
Plod should wait up the road from pub car
parks, I bet they would have a field day.
Majority of drivers cannot drive in a straight line.
