A car has been destroyed after a fire broke out in Cowes earlier this morning (Monday).
1 appliance from Cowes was mobilised to Ward Avenue in the town at 06:05 following reports of a vehicle well alight.
Firefighters used 2 breathing apparatus and a hose reel to bring the flames under control and extinguished the blaze. The operation took 30 minutes.
The cause of the fire remains unclear.
No one was injured in the incident.
