The UK’s most experienced day camp provider, Camp Beaumont, is popping up on the Isle of Wight this summer to help parents’ childcare needs.
For the first time, it will be excitedly welcoming children to 3 sites from its sister company, Kingswood, making use of its fantastic facilities to continue providing the joy-filled experiences it is known and loved for.
Those venues include Kingswood in Bembridge, Dearne Valley in South Yorkshire and Grosvenor Hall in Kent.
These exclusive camps will be opening from 3rd-28th August but parents must be quick as there are only a limited number of places available.
Children will get the chance to get back outside and make new friends all while learning essential life skills and trying activities they might not ever have had the chance to try before. On the Isle of Wight, children will get the chance to make the most of what the beautiful site has to offer including taking part in water sports and beach activities.
Problem-solving and challenge courses will be on the agenda as well as orienteering and bushcraft. There will also be a wide range of activities to suit all interests such as circus skills, archery, buggy build and mini Olympics to ensure children are having a great time while moving in the outdoors.
Of course, stringent new safety measures have also been put in place to minimise the risk of COVID-19 to ensure children, and reassure parents, that they will be looked after as safely as possible in accordance with the government’s guidelines. These include operating with reduced capacity to allow for effective social distancing, maximum groups of 15 who will not come into contact with other groups on site, staggered lunch times and enhanced cleaning routines. Thorough handwashing will also be carried out for everyone every hour and hand sanitiser stations will be available throughout the sites.
