A new shop specialising in party products has opened in Newport this weekend in support of local charity Pop N Grow.

Bundles of Joy is a party shop selling high quality products for sensible, affordable prices allowing parents to keep control over their budget and finances.

Mum-of-two Emma Martin, who created Bundles of Joy over a year ago, said: “The UK is in a terrible economic climate and people are really having to be careful with money but they still want to be able to throw a party without having to worry to much about the cost of doing so.

“I stock several different ranges with a lot of products in each range so customers can choose how much they want to spend  but can still have matching, themed or coloured tableware and decorations.  Children can choose their favourite theme (Pirates, Charlie Bear, Fireman Sam etc) but their parents still have tight control over the budget and finances”.

Emma went on to explain how the business started… “I started off with a packet of nappies which I made into a Nappy Cake and sold.  I then kept reinvested the money I made and today I have an online store selling a large range of themed, coloured and special occasion party and tableware, and now (with thanks to Catherine-Ann at Gardenia Florists) I have a large part of Gardenia Florists so I can sell directly and immediately to the lovely people of the Isle of Wight”.

Bundles of Joy can be found inside Gardenia Florists at 114 Lower St James’ Street, Newport or online at http://bundlesofjoyiw.com/
