Sandown’s Broadway Park Hotel has been put back on the market with an asking price of £4million.
The hotel has had a turbulent few years after it ceased trading in May 2020 following the 1st Covid lockdown and was then rescued by new ownership in April 2021 before enjoying a bumper Summer season later that year when it welcomed more than 15,000 guests.
Now, the 106-room hotel on Melville Street – a former Victorian mansion – is back on the market with Christie & Co for a whopping £4million.
Set in more than 4 acres of land, the hotel also boasts a ballroom and a restaurant.
The property, part of Bespoke Hotels, is available on a single asset basis but the group is also selling other hotels in it’s portfolio.
It is unclear how long it might take to find a buyer and it is therefore not yet known what the future holds for this local landmark and the people who work there.

With the current state of Sandown, who in their right mind would pay
£4,000,000.00 for a property in Sandown.
Someone who wants to make a lot of money. This hotel has over 100 bedrooms. How much did 15,000 guests pay? How much do you think it makes each year?
How much does it cost to run such a large establishment in the current climate,
Extorninate interest rates
Extorninate energy prices
Extorninate business rates
Extorninate food prices
Higher minium wage
If they make a profit after all of that I’m Spartacus
Doubt you could make a profit from anything with spelling like that.
Unnecessary comment really…
It does appear than very few people on here can smell prerpally !!
