15 teams took part in an 18-hole Cross Country event at Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club recently.
The event was closely fought and a challenge without doubt, with some very interesting holes created by Head Greenkeeper, Tony Mears.
The winning team of Chris Gould, Shawn Ford, Linda Piche and Stef Brochocki scored a brilliant nett 49.82.
In second place were Ray Winter, Joe Goodey, Dorian Cobb and Malcolm Vaughan on 51.41.
Third place went to Tony Williams, Garry Moody, Ashley Palmer and Neil Hallett with a respectable 52.24.
