5 households in Brading are celebrating today (Friday) after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.
Neighbours in Quay Lane have netted the windfall when PO36 0AT was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Friday 24th April 2020.
Today’s win is the latest in a series of Daily Prize wins on the Island.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners. She said:
“What great news to start off your weekend! Congratulations to our winners.”
This draw was promoted by the Wildlife Trusts which have received over £12.6 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery. The Wildlife Trusts look after more than 2,300 nature reserves and operate more than 100 visitor and education centres across the country. The Trusts work to make life better for wildlife, people and future generations.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can next apply for funding in August.

Very good Well done but maybe give half your winnings to the low income and unemployed families. As the children aren’t at school at the moment this means unemployed parents are finding it very difficult as many children can’t go to the breakfast clubs and also free school lunches This means parents, often single parents are having to supply their children with these meals. Even extra use of toiletries and toilet paper whilst schools are closed can be a burden on some. Your local church will be able to direct you to these charitable organisations.. Giving can give so much joy.
Maybe the people that have won it are exactly the people you were mentioning… Congratulations winners, something good for a change.
Sorry but I don’t think the unemployed would have spare monies to gamble…Really!
