Brading Town (Res) were in rampant form last night (Wednesday) sweeping aside Osbourne COB (Res) 5-0 with the minimum of fuss.
An own goal, a hatrick from Daniel Reeve and one from “Captain America” Alex Boirand pushing “The Romans” closer to league glory.
Although COB had several chances in the opening minutes it was Brading that made the first breakthrough. Pressuring the Coburg goal they were rewarded when the travelling defender put the ball in the back of his own net. 1-0 Brading with more surely to come.
Continuous pressure from Brading saw Daniel Reeve double the romans lead on fifteen minutes knocking in a corner for a much deserved 2-0 lead playing down the infamous hill.
“Reevo” doubled his tally on twenty minutes but had to wait until deep into the second 45 to get his deserved hatrick. Alex Boirand getting Bradings other goal on the night. Final score 5-0 and a very one-sided affair. Brading look good value for title glory again.
