The body of a man in his 20s has been discovered in amongst woodland in the heart of Ryde today (Tuesday). Police were called to St John’s Park – between East Hill Road and West Hill Road – at 09:12 this morning. Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed that the body is that of a man in his 20s. His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner. His family have been informed. The body was recovered by undertakers shortly before 12:45.
