A Blackpool man has been charged with drink driving after crashing his van into a ditch in Freshwater last night (Wednesday). At about 21:20 last night, police came across a single vehicle road traffic collision on Hill Lane, Freshwater, where a Volkswagen Transporter van has left the road and gone into a ditch Daniel James Hassard, 35, of Dalton Avenue in Blackpool, has been charged with drink driving. He has been bailed to attend the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on 14th May.

Would you like to know how they’d end up here? Often they are young girls…children, either taken or given to OCGs abroad, trafficked to Ireland first then if no heat is on, then into England. But not before first having earned their ‘keep’. Their (false) passports are retained by the gangs, their lives and their loved ones lives threatened if they ever try to escape or notify authorities.
