Ventnor 1st and 2nd XIs, Ryde 1st and 2nd XIs and Shanklin & Godshill were all defeated by mainland opposition on Saturday (12th August).
Ventnor 1sts were put into bat by Sarisbury Athletic at Steephill reaching 177 before being skittled out in the 41st over. Henry Edwards put up the most resistance for the South Wight side with a knock of 42 before being caught by Rob Franklin off the bowling of Wright. Dineth Thimodya was the 2nd top scorer with 37 runs.
Sarisbury surpassed the Ventnor total with 14 overs and 6 wickets to spare thanks to a century from opener Tom Morton, who made 101 runs off 94 balls, striking 13 4s and 2 6s. Chris Russell (2-31) took a brace of wickets for the home side with Zach Wells (1-16) and Charlie Calloway (1-36) picking up a wicket apiece.

In Hampshire Division 4 (South), Ventnor 2nd XI suffered their 1st defeat of the season at the hands of Fareham & Crofton.
The South Wight side was put into bat, scoring a respectable 263 for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 45 overs. Neil Westhorpe top-scored with 93 off 106 balls before being clean-bowled by Charlie Stubbs. Gary Legg was the 2nd highest scorer with a knock of 80.
Fareham overcame the Ventnor total for the loss of 4 wickets with just 2 overs to spare. Jack Powell (2-52) took a brace of wickets for the Islanders with Thomas Southcott (1-19) and Charlie Turpin (1-45) also both picking up wickets.

In Division 1, Ryde suffered an 8-wicket defeat at Harding Shute at the hands of Hursley Park.
After losing the toss and being put into bat, Ryde were skittled out for 121 runs in the 45th over. Ben Gregory top-scored for the Island side with 32 before being run out by Jenson Bishop.
Hursley Park overcame the Ryde total with 7 overs to spare for the loss of just 2 wickets: Tim Bacon, who was clean bowled for 29 by Kerry Rice, and Matt Branford, who was caught and bowled by Ash Goldsmith.

In Division 4 (South), Ryde 2nds lost by 30 runs to Fair Oak.
After being put into bat by Ryde, Fair Oak made 210 for the loss of 5 wickets in their 45 overs. Nathan Day (2-20) returned the best bowling figures for Ryde, with Jerin Jose (1-11), Jacob Palin (1-26) and Andy Day (1-48) all picking up wickets.
Ryde reached a total of 180 runs for the loss of 9 wickets, with opener Mark Oatley hitting 49 before being clean-bowled by Shaun Buttle and Andy Day making 35 before being caught off the bowling of Clark.

In Division 3 (South), Shanklin & Godshill went down to an 80-run defeat to Sareisbury Athletic 2nds.
After losing the toss and being put into bat by Shanklin, Sarisbury put on a respectable 273 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Lewis Powell (3-53) took a treble of wickets for the Island side, with Ross Le Sueur (2-49) picking up a brace.
Shanklin reached 193 for the loss of 7 wickets in reply. Seb Egerton-Reed was the highest scorer with 70 runs before being caught by Will Bolton of the bowling of Ricky Rawlings. Archy Lucy was the 2nd-highest scorer with 44.
