2025 has got off to a joyful start as St Mary’s Hospital saw the birth of 2 bundles of joy on New Year’s Day.
Elsie Pratt was the first to arrive at 05:05, a daughter for parents Amy and Adam Pratt of Chale Green.
Baby Elsie weighed 8lb 15oz.
Alexander Onwuka was also born at 21:48, a son for mum Augusta and dad Ifeanyi Onwuka of Ryde, weighing 7lb 5oz.
The team at St Mary’s is proud to have supported welcoming Elsie and Alexander into the world, and wishes them and their parents all the very best for the future.
There were no babies born on Christmas Day 2024.
