A 24-year-old man from Cowes has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after his Audi was stopped on the main road through Brading this lunchtime (Sunday). The vehicle, an Audi S3, was pulled over at the Bullring at just gone midday with a search of the vehicle carried out at the roadside. A toddler and an adult female passenger were inside the vehicle at the time, Island Echo understands. The driver, who is suspected of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, has been taken into custody. He remains at Newport Police Station this afternoon.
