Artists are being invited to apply for 3 new public art commissions that will celebrate the unique beauty, history and community spirit of the Isle of Wight National Landscape through site-specific works.
The opportunity, launched by Isle of Wight National Landscape in partnership with Creative Island, forms part of Can You Hear Us? – a major Island-wide cultural programme due to take place in Autumn 2026, supported by Arts Council England and partner organisations.

The commissions are:
- Appuldurcombe House – £16,000 for a site-specific creative response to the historic landscape
- Two further commissions – £10,000 each, focused on live or temporary public events across South and West Wight
The organisers are encouraging proposals that engage local communities and explore connections between people and place. The selected works will form part of a wider programme designed to inspire connection and creativity through public art.
Applications are open now, with a deadline of Sunday 14th December 2025 at midnight.
