Multiple agencies have been involved in the treatment and extrication of a poorly patient in the West Wight tonight (Monday).
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and a Co-Responder were sent to an address on Solent Gardens near Colwell earlier this evening when an individual was taken unwell.
The assistance of the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service was soon requested with 1 fire appliance from Freshwater sent to help move the female from their position inside an address.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was also drafted in, landing in a nearby field at just gone 20:00. Doctors walked the short distance to the scene of the emergency.
The decision was taken to transport the patient by land ambulance to St Mary’s Hospital instead of air lifting her to a mainland hospital.
Emergency teams stood down from the incident by 20:45.

Why call the air ambulance seems a waste hope female is ok
Bear that comment in mind when the call is for you Old bean….
Needed it years ago and it was a emergency and gave a good donation for that and still to this day I donate just think it’s called on to much these days being it’s a charity our government should pay for it
Then you should keep your opinion to yourself “old bean” and would someone please explain to me why this or any other government should be expected to pay for everything that’s going on right now??
Shhh
That’s right next to me
