WE all lose around 100 hairs a day, but there are around 50 hair loss disorders that can affect men and woman.
There are many reasons for hair loss and hair thinning such as stress, medication, weight loss or a poor diet.
I advise my clients in severe cases to seek advice from their doctor, but there are ways to help and prevent hair thinning – having your hair proffessionelly coloured in the correct way makes a big difference, I use colours at couture which contain densilium (a colour that plumps, thicken and nourish).
Another popular service couture provides is the famous BOTOX for hair treatment which fills in the gaps in the hair to thicken and make the hair stronger which prevents breakage and thinning.
We take hair thinning and ensuring the hair is in perfect condition seriously – clients that have had the Botox treatment love the results.
In some cases ‘hair extensions’ are an obvious way of not only adding length but also volume depending on the condition of the hair. It doesn’t hurt to fake it a little.
Ask your stylist for product advice as there are a wide range of products on the market such as shampoos, conditioners and volumising blowdry lotions which help add body to fine hair.
A good tip when styling to add volume is using a round brush when drying the hair. Finish with a volumising dust and hairspray for hold.
