Apart from the Table Tennis Centre at Smallbrook, there are many smaller venues around the Island that host regular table tennis sessions, offering friendly, relaxing fun for all ages and abilities.
When table tennis is played regularly it improves reflexes, hand-eye coordination and balance, while toning and strengthening the core muscles of the upper and lower body. It’s great for working up a sweat and increasing your heart rate, helping to keep your heart strong and healthy.
The cost of the sessions varies but is usually only £2 or £3 and with the exception of Freshwater (where booking is required), you can just turn up and play. Tea, coffee, biscuits and chat are usually available too.
There is no need to bring your own paddle or balls, as they will be provided.
