An Oakfield man charged with 4 sexual offences, including attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, has been sent to prison for a total of 4 years.

Shuttleworth, who recently worked for retailer B&M, pleaded guilty to the offences back in April having been initially bailed following his first court appearance in March.
At the sentencing hearing on Thursday (22nd June) The Hon Mr Justice Saini KC sentenced Shuttleworth to 4 years in custody for the most serious offence involving children. For the 2nd most serious offence he was given an 18-month sentence which is to run concurrently. The Prosecution called for forfeiture and destruction of the mobile phone and indecent images.
Shuttleworth was ordered to pay a £156 victim surcharge fee, sign onto the Sex Offenders’ Register for 10 years and was issued a 10 year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

OMG 4 years, taking the p… should of castrated him, stuck him in a cell on his own bread and water till he was no more! This is happening to often! SCUM
Absolutely shocking to hear about such heinous crimes in our community. Justice has been served, but we must continue to protect our children and educate them about online safety.
At one time, the real men in Oakfield would have decided and given the sentence themselves, I guess they are all too busy living the high life now on tax credits to care.
So different when it was a real community, it had it’s hard nuts, but now a mis match of non local vile it seems.
