Young people are being invited to explore the options to them available after their GCSEs at the Isle of Wight College’s latest Open Day on Saturday (12th November) between 10:00-14:00.
The College has a fantastic range of vocational courses starting September 2023 which can lead to a wide range of careers on completion, as well as options to progress to university.
In addition, the College now offers the new T Levels. Anyone currently in Year 11 will join the College in time for the 2nd year, with an even larger choice! From September 2023, T Levels will be offered in:
- Computing & Digital – Computing & Digital Design and Production OR Computing & Digital Support Services
- Business Management
- Engineering
- Health
- Early Years and Education (Childcare)
- Hospitality
- Construction
- Animal Care (Horticulture)
- Legal Finance and Accounting
- Hairdressing, Barbering & Beauty
- Creative Design
The open day is not only for students leaving school soon, there will also be opportunities to find out more about Apprenticeships, Distance Learning, Adult Learning, Short Courses and Employer Training, International opportunities and University Centre Isle of Wight.
Prospective students can also find out about the range of bursaries and financial assistance available as well as the College’s vast range of enrichment such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, subsidised international travel and use of on-site facilities such as the salons and college gym.
