A fabulous fashion show was enjoyed by over 120 people at the Royal Esplanade Hotel in Ryde earlier this year, raising £1,110 for a local organisation.
The occasion was organised by Tina Lettington of Bellissima and Sheila Wilson of Sugar & Spice Lingerie. The 2 Ryde boutiques collaborated with the hotel to support Suicide Prevention & Intervention Isle of Wight, raising £1,110 for the organisation.
A wide range of clothes, lingerie and nightwear were shown on the night. Tina has said that having models aged from 17 to 70 in all shapes and sizes was really appreciated by the audience, who found the evening both inspirational and empowering.
A cheque was recently presented to Clare Holbrook, Chairman of SPIIOW.
SPIIOW is operated by volunteers from across the Isle of Wight and is actively involved in suicide prevention, having seen first-hand the devastation it causes to friends, family and the local community. Their teams cover some 380 square miles of the Island across varied terrain that covers rural land, forest, cliff & waterway and high rise buildings and are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to help support those at risk of suicide.
