Delays of up to 120-minutes are being experienced on Wightlink’s Fishbourne – Portsmouth vehicle ferry service this afternoon (Bank Holiday Monday) because of a technical issue.
The cross-Solent operator has confirmed that customers travelling from Fishbourne may be delayed by up to 120 minutes and those travelling from Portsmouth, by around 30 minutes.
Victoria of Wight is the vessel on which the technical issue has arisen.
Wightlink has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
Further updates are expected in the coming hours.
As long as they apologise, that makes everything fine and won’t cause any passenger inconvenience.
More dissapointed families having their bank holiday day out ruined thanks again to this useless ferry debacle.
Bridges and Tunnels don’t suffer from such issues.
