A 2-car collision has blocked the main route through Havenstreet this morning (Friday).
Paramedics were first called to the scene on Main Road at around 11:20, following reports of a 2-vehicle road traffic collision outside Havenstreet Community Centre.
At the scene, a BMW estate has collided with a parked Tesla.
The force of the impact has seen the BMW end up off the road, on someone’s front garden.
A single ambulance is on scene tending to those involved, however no major injuries are believed to have been sustained.
Main Road is currently blocked, with motorists diverting via Church Road.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary are not currently in attendance.
UPDATE @ 13:27 – Recovery of the vehicles is now underway, with the road expected to reopen shortly.

What a stupid place for the Tesla to park . That is a narrow road
So what?
Whatever happened to just swapping insurance details and moving on ?
A few years ago car got hit from behind told the police couldn’t be bothered said deal with it..
If it happened now you’d have a road closure, roof cut off your car and all three emergency services!!!
Its not that narrow and i used to park my VW transporter in the same spot outside my house and nobody crashed into it. Its the first time ive had a car on my lawn in 20 years! Wish I hadnt taken the earth bank out now.
How does a motorist hit a parked vehicle,
maybe a trip to Specsavers is required.
Medical episode?
Possibly a speeding numpty travelling in the opposite direction, forcing them into it?
Why ask? You seem to be the expert on all RTC’s on the Island
