UPDATED: A young boy has this morning (Monday) been hit by a car in Ryde.
The incident took place in Harding Road, Oakfield at around 09:30 when a 3-year-old boy was involved in a collision with a car, as Island Echo reported via Twitter earlier today.
Island Echo understand the youngster suffered minor injuries and was taken to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport for further checks and treatment.
UPDATE @ 14:35 – The young boy remains in hospital this afternoon suffering from minor injuries to his face and head.
UPDATE @ 19:00 – Three-year-old Jonas has been discharged from hospital and is now back at home with the family.
