Ryde Inshore Rescue are assisting a yacht aground on Ryde Sands this afternoon (Saturday).
The independent lifeboat station was tasked to launch by Solent Coastguard at 14:15 following reports of a vessel hard aground.
Ryde Rescue 1 is currently on scene and is attempting to assist the yacht in reaching deeper water.
No one is thought to be injured.
