An Isle of Wight holiday let business is looking to expand — by knocking down a former cattery. Cooks Castle Farm, off of St John’s Road in Wroxall, is home to holiday lets, stables and pet-sitting facilities. Owner, Mr A Palmer, is seeking permission to demolish a redundant cattery building, and replace it with 2x 2-bed properties, because he says demand is high for self-catering. Planning documents say substantial investment would be required to refurbish the building for it to be used by animals. You can view the plans, 23/01915/FUL, on the council’s planning register. Comments can be submitted until 1st December.
