Detectives on the Isle of Wight are today investigating a sexual assault against a woman in her 30s in Sandown last night (Tuesday).
As Island Echo reported this morning, forensic officers have been examining the scene of the alleged attack at Sandown’s Los Altos Park, near to Melville Street.
Officers are questioning a man aged in his 20s about the assault. Police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the matter and the victim and suspect are known to each other.
