Emergency services attended a small road traffic collision in Shanklin this lunchtime (Thursday) after a woman was knocked to the ground.
Police were called to the scene at the junction of the High Street and Pomona Road shortly before 12:45 after receiving reports that a motorist had reversed into a pedestrian and a nearby lamp post.
A nurse, who was passing in the street at the time, checked the unknown female for any injures, however thankfully, the collision victim was uninjured in the incident but was left shaken up.
