UPDATED: Emergency services are this morning attending a road traffic collision in Porchfield which has resulted in one woman becoming trapped inside her vehicle.
Fire crews from Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have worked to free the female at the scene of the collision on Corf Road near to the junction with Coleman’s Lane.
The incident took place just after 08:00. Ambulance crews and Police are also in attendance.
The road has been closed in both directions. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
UPDATE @ 09:30 – Corf Road has now re-opened, according to Hampshire Constabulary.
One woman has been taken to St Mary’s Hospital for a check up. She is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
