The Met Office have issued a yellow wind warning for tomorrow (Monday) between 06:00 and 21:00.
Winds are already strong however west to southwesterly winds are expected to increase further overnight and into Monday, becoming very gusty with a risk of gales over exposed coasts and hills.
There is currently some uncertainty over the peak wind strength and also the extent of the strong winds, however the likelihood is said to be moderately high.
According to local forecasters IOW Weather, tomorrow afternoon is likely to see some very strong winds touching 50mph at times.
