A broken down pick-up truck is causing delays for those using one of the main routes into Sandown this evening (Friday).
A Ford Ranger pick-up has been left in the middle of the road, completely blocking traffic heading into Sandown.
The incident occurred on Morton Common at around 17:15.
It is unclear as to how the incident happened.
Traffic in the area is heavier than usual as a result. Motorists are advised to avoid the area for the time being.

There are too many of these d*ck mobiles on the island.
Island Roads are too small for such vehicles, also many
car park spaces are, hence numpties parking over 2
spaces.
Tax them to the hilt, they work well on farms or in
the states, not on a small island.
they are taxed to the hilt Einstein.
What caused it? Probably a council pot hole ️?
Or a dodgy manhole cover.
