Players from across the Isle of Wight joined Westridge Golf Club members for a charity day in aid of Breast Cancer UK on Saturday (26th April).
The field of 42 contested a 9-hole Bowmaker Stableford Competition.
It was a team of Westridge’s Juniors who came to the fore – Alfie Boxall, Oliver Slade and Junior Captain Lewis Chambers winning with 45 points.
2nd on countback were Steve Persechino, Peter Dixcey and Gary Cass with Lady Captain and organiser Lorraine Swallow with Bowy White and Nikki Glasgow 3rd on countback with 44pts.
Once all the sums were done, the competition, raffle and donations saw a total of £614 raised for the charity.
