Can you help West Wight Men In Sheds raise the additional funds they need to purchase a replacement van?
Over the last 8 months, the van has enabled West Wight Men In Sheds to help deliver over 600 hot meals as well as delivering shopping and prescriptions to the vulnerable and isolated members of the community during the lockdown.
However, the old LDV Cub failed its MOT earlier this month and the community group have now been left without transport. It was deemed too dangerous to drive and beyond economical repair.
Being able to purchase a replacement van will enable them to continue supporting the local community and other local groups and charities.
A JustGiving page has been set up at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/shedvan with over £400 raised to date.
You can find out more about the group by visiting http://www.westwightshed.org or by emailing [email protected].
