A yellow weather warning has been issued for the Isle of Wight as heavy, prolonged and occasionally thundery downpours have been forecast.
IW Met Service says that between 06:00 and 17:00 tomorrow (Monday), the Island can expect heavy and prolonged showers, especially in the morning.
Rainfall totals will vary significantly, with some areas seeing as much as 30mm falling over a short space of time.
Some areas on the Isle of Wight will likely see just a few millimetres worth, leading to some highly localised rainfall totals.
It is said that thunder can be expected in places.
Islanders should be aware of the risk of flash flooding in the usual prone areas, as well as stones, shingle, dirt and debris being washed across road.
