Whitecroft & Barton kept their unbeaten run in the Harwoods Renault Division 1 going and the spot at the top of the table as they beat Vectis 6-1 at Sandy Lane on Saturday.
Goals from Liam Slaven, Nathan Martin, Liam Harper, Sam Yelland and 2 for Fred Knowles saw W&B keep up their impressive record of 12 wins from 13, their only blemish a 0-0 draw with last year’s champions Shanklin earlier this month.
Elsewhere, Shanklin managed to keep pace with W&B after they beat Sandown and Lake 2-9 away in the Bay Derby.
A dominant team performance saw a hat-trick from Nick Vyse, 2 for Ryan Hill and Ji Nash and 1 each from Steve Trowbridge and Ryan Gregory, gave the Seasiders the bragging rights in The Bay. Shanklin sit just 3 points behind W&B having played 1 game less.
Pan Community earned a great 3 points against 3rd placed Binstead & COB at Downside, goals from Mark Taylor, Ross Lacey and Josh Gwilliam take Pan above Northwood into 7th in the table.
Oakfield scored 6 and kept a clean sheet in a 6-0 win at home to Bembridge. A trio of strikes for Harrison Taylor, 2 for Liam Bennet and 1 for James Garrett got Oakfield back to winning ways after no wins in their last 5 games before that.
West Wight beat Brading 3-1 at Camp Road thanks to goals from George Saunders, Charlie Smeeton and Ash Brett.
Elsewhere East Cowes Sports beat Northwood St Johns 3-2 at GKN Sports Ground.
