39-year-old Warren Russell – a regular name on Island Echo – has been remanded in custody charged with a number of shoplifting incidents in Ryde.
Russell, of Green Street, Ryde, is charged with 3 counts of theft from a shop.
It is alleged he stole £60 worth of goods from Poundland on Monday, as well as £118.50 of alcohol from Co-op on Anglesea Street.
Yesterday, Russell is alleged to have stole £32.25 worth of goods from Poundland again.
A man is due in court this morning in connection with shoplifting incidents in Ryde.
He will appear in the dock at the Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday).
Russell was already due in court today for a drug rehabilitation review hearing.
