WALK-IN COVID JABS NOW BEING OFFERED IN NEWPORT, RYDE AND VENTNOR

Islanders can now receive their COVID-19 vaccinations by simply walking into 1 of 3 locations across the Isle of Wight, without the need for an appointment.

Hampshire, Southampton and Isle of Wight CCG has announced that Ventnor Medical Practice and Newport Health Centre have joined Westridge Leisure Centre in offering walk-in clinics. Appointments are also still being offered at the Riverside Centre in Newport, via the national booking system.

It comes as the country pushes towards triple vaccinating as many people as possible by the end of the year. So far, 50% of those aged 12 and over have received their booster (third) vaccination.

Looks like the rest of the world were correct when not administering the Oxford jab, as see that such has been dropped now like a hot spud.

We all thought it was just sour grapes.

I think instead of this growing hatred of those choosing the jab against those not wishing to be jabbed could easily be resolved by giving priority to those who have had all their jabs IF room in hospitals is soon to become hard to find.

Then those choosing not to be jabbed would not ruin life for others, and should they be treated then take the cash overtime for their costs.

Then we could all unite as one, instead of playing the blame game.

There’ll be plenty more boosters on the way. Monthly will be the new norm. The dystopia variant hasn’t hit yet.
