A residential street in Ryde has been closed this afternoon (Sunday) after a void appeared in the middle of the road.
Arthur Street in the town has been closed at the junctions of Pellhurst Road and West Street after a hole was discovered half way along the street.
It appears the area has already been repaired once and lays next to a water manhole cover.
Contractors are expected to commence repairs later today.
