Ventnor man Andrew Dorning is to appear before the Isle of Wight Crown Court later this year, charged with 3 counts of rape and 1 count of attempted rape.
The 44-year-old, of Mitchell Avenue in Ventnor, appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court last Tuesday (29th July) for a preliminary hearing.
Lauren McConnell, prosecuting for the Crown Prosecution Service, provided brief details of the alleged offences, which were said to have occurred between 2009 and 2019 in Lowestoft, Suffolk, and Niton on the Isle of Wight.
Mr Dorning will appear before a Judge in the Crown Court on 1st Sept for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
