A van has collided into a phone box in Freshwater this evening (Friday), prompting a response from the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
Firefighters from Freshwater Fire Station were mobilised to the incident on School Green Road Road at around 18:15 after a white Ford Transit van veered into the public telephone, just yards from a bus stop.
No one has been seriously injured in the crash, which has severely damaged the BT-owned box.
Island Roads are attending the incident.
