Two vehicles have collided near to Osborne House in East Cowes this afternoon (Thursday) leading to tailbacks in the area.
A White Vauxhall Corsa collided into the rear of a Silver Volkswagen Van outside Osborne Garage shortly before 16:25, prompting two ambulances and a rapid response paramedic to respond to the scene alongside Police.
Two persons are being treated by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and will be conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport shortly.
Traffic is tailed back in both directions however is slowly moving under Police direction. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible, diverting via Beatrice Avenue.
