Two vehicles have been involved in a road traffic collision in Dover Street, Ryde this afternoon.
Emergency services are currently on the scene, including paramedics who are assessing the individuals involved.
The collision has involved a Ford Fiesta and a Nissan Micra, driven by an elderly person.
One fire crew from Ryde Fire Station have left the scene within the last few minutes.
The road has been closed at the junction with Bellevue Road and Park Road.
UPDATE @ 16:00 – Dover Street reopened shortly before 15:30 this afternoon. The vehicles are awaiting recovery.
