UPDATED: Rush hour traffic is delayed in and around Brading this evening (Friday) following a collision between two cars.
The incident, which is understood to involve a Toyota Prius and another vehicle, has occurred at Yarbridge causing the busy crossroads to become blocked. The road traffic collision happened just after 17:00.
Police are currently on the scene and are directing traffic, which is said to be backed up.
Paramedics from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service are also in attendance, however no one is believed to have been seriously injured.
UPDATE @ 19:10 – The incident has now been cleared.
